MHD.tv
Code and Theory designed and developed a Flash site to coincide with the launch of the new high-definition music channel, MHD. MTV Networks and Comcast launched MHD to give viewers a non-stop lineup of HD music programs, as well as the first-ever simulcast of MTV’s Video Music Awards in high definition.
Code and Theory created MHD.tv to be dynamically driven, featuring MHD’s daily and current programming schedule with high-resolution images. One particular challenge was differentiating between the various music channels on the site. Navigating between MTV, VH1, CMT, and MHD original programming changes the website’s colors to fit the corresponding network’s color palette. A subtle reflection mirrors the site’s content and transitions, furthering MHD’s high-definition online experience.
