Code and Theory Work Featured in Awwwards Book
Every Fall, Awwwards.com curates a finite list of of the most innovative websites of the year and memorializes them in print. For their latest book – Exciting Web Projects: Conception to Execution – the new latimes.com was hand-selected as just one of 17 web projects that "stood out for their innovation and execution."
The four-page case study is a monument to the latimes.com's responsive grid – a new modular, highly-customizable design system served by a sophisticated algorithm that makes the content consumption experience even more enjoyable. It touches on features like Visual Browse, which was designed to deliver the news in a more visual way, and dives deep into our strategy around designing to midpoints rather than breakpoints.
The book, which also features work from top agencies like Huge Inc., Tool, MediaMonks and B-Reel, was published October 1 and can be purchased online at Amazon.com. Click here to check it out.
