Code and Theory Hires Ben Berentson Formerly of Vogue.com

NEW YORK - Code and Theory today announced that Ben Berentson has been hired asSenior Director, Editorial and Organizational Development, where he will work alongside clients to help them develop and cultivate the strategies, teams and products needed to meet the demands of the changing digital economy. Berentson will start in the newly-created role immediately and report to Michael Treff, ManagingPartner, Product Design.

Prior to joining Code and Theory, Berentson worked at Condé Nastfor 11 years, most recently as Site Director of Vogue.com. There he helped lead a complete strategic overhaul, significantly growing the site’s traffic, revenue, and social followings. He worked with Code and Theory to redesign Vogue.com in 2014 and spearheaded the launch of Vogue Runway in 2015. Vogue was theAmerican Society of Magazine Editors’ 2015 Magazine of the Year, recognizing excellence across print and digital, and a finalist for Website of the Year in2016.

A graduate of Brown University, Berentson began his career as a reporter for Forbes before moving on to Condé Nast in 2005 where he held several different roles, including Digital Managing Director of Glamour, which included oversight of Glamour.com, and Executive Director of Editorial WebStrategy at Condé Nast, where he worked across all of the company’s brands.
