The Outline | The First Modern Mutation in Digital Publishing
The 2017 Digiday Publishing Awards honor global digital publishing innovation for publishers, brands, agencies and technology platforms. This is Code and Theory’s second honor from Digiday. In 2014, the agency received Best Use of Mobile by a Publisher for Mashable’s Android app.
This year’s award was in recognition of Code and Theory’s work designing the newly launched online publication, The Outline. The agency, in collaboration with The Outline, was responsible for concepting and executing on the design of publications online presence. Known for their paradigm-shifting storytelling, The Outline also boasts a truly integrated ad product built natively into their website.
Code and Theory and The Outline were named winners at a cocktail reception on March 23rd at The Diamond Horseshoe in New York City. The full list of winners by category can be viewed here.
